Privacy Policy

What this site does not run

The site is static HTML and CSS. Anything not needed to render a page is simply not here. Specifically, none of the following exists on this site:

• Tracking cookies — this site sets no cookies at all. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
• Analytics scripts — no Google Analytics, and no other analytics tag.
• Advertising pixels or conversion tags — no measurement code for any ad platform.
• JavaScript — the pages on this site load none.
• Third-party embeds, fonts or images — no resource on these pages calls out to another domain, so simply reading the site does not hand your details to a third party.
• Forms, accounts or logins — there is nothing to fill in. This site never receives your name or your email address.

Server request logs

The site is served from the network of our hosting provider, Cloudflare. To the extent technically unavoidable in delivering a website, that provider processes the information contained in a request — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — in order to serve pages and to protect the site against abuse.

What we look at is only the aggregate counts that provider reports, such as requests per page. We do not identify individual visitors and we do not follow anyone’s reading history. Search traffic is measured through Google Search Console, which works server-side against the search index and does not involve a tag on the page.

The app has its own policy

Separately from this site, Evelaina publishes a study app called Gaimen. The app does include advertising-measurement code and is therefore handled differently from this website — see the app privacy policy for what it collects. If you follow a link from this site to a store page — Apple’s App Store or Google Play — what happens there is governed by that store operator’s policies and by the app policy, not by this one.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13. Since it collects no personal information at all, it collects none from children either. If you have a concern, write to support@evelaina.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted at this URL with a revised “last updated” date. If tracking or analytics were ever introduced, this page would be updated before that happened, not after.
